Wrist Tattoo - How To Find the Perfect Tattoo Design For You

The popularity of the wrist tattoo is on the rise as shown by the number of top celebrities getting them. There are many types of wrist tattoos including stars, words, and wrist bands. The wrist is a great location for a tattoo that you can hide or show off as you choose. What an ideal spot for your favorite saying or symbol.

Types Of Wrist Tattoo Designs

Photography Tips

The most common location is the inside of the wrist. They are very popular because it is easier to hide an inner wrist tattoo. Some folks like to have their wrist tattoo on top of their wrist in combination with a tattoo sleeve or hand tattoos. Even more daring is a tattoo that encircles the wrist like a bracelet. A tattoo of this type is just like an armband tattoo but much lower. Pink has "What Goes Around Comes Around" and "TRU LUV" circling her right wrist. Peaches Geldof has a crucifix tattoo around her left wrist.

Wrist Tattoo - How To Find the Perfect Tattoo Design For You

Nautical stars and words are probably the most used wrist tattoos. Wrist band tattoos are usually celtic knots or barbed wire. In addition to english words both kanji and sanskrit are often used. Women sometimes get flowers, hearts, or kissing lips tattoos.

Getting A Wrist Tattoo

Are they painful to get? You would expect so since there is little to cushion the needle in the wrist area, but most people with tattoos say no. Also since the wrist area is exposed, healing time can be longer and touching up may be required down the road too. In addition, 25% regret their tattoo decision after the fact so consider this before you get one.

You will most likely need to keep it hidden while at work. Unless you want to wear long sleeves all the time, a great trick is to make sure a wristwatch can cover it. After hours you can uncover and show off your ink all you want to your hearts desire.

Celebrities With Wrist Tattoos

A growing number of top celebrities sport wrist tattoos. Nicole Ritchie has inner wrist tattoos of a red shooting star on her left wrist and the word "virgin" on her right. Lindsay Lohans wrist tattoo is the word "breathe" in white and located on her right wrist and a small star tattoo on inside left wrist. Britney Spears has a lips tattoo. Jessica Alba has a Sanskrit character for lotus flower on her wrist. Ashlee Simpson has a star tattoo and a "love" tattoo. Orlando Bloom's wrist tattoo is of the Elvish word for "nine". All nine of the "Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring" actors have this same tattoo to celebrate their participation in the films.

After you have done your homework then you will be ready to get some ink. Emulate your favorite actress or celebrity or come up with something completely original. These tattoos are an extremely popular type so join the in crowd and get one soon.

Birthday Invitation Phrases and Wording

Birthday invitations, and the wording and phrases that go in them, can run the gamut from witty and fun to serious and straightforward. The best thing to keep in mind when deciding upon birthday invitation verses and wording is who the birthday party is for. Age, personality, interests, and even profession can play a part. The invitation wording should represent the celebrant well.

Children's Birthday Invitations are typically fun and lighthearted, and usually play a part in a larger theme. Sometimes inspiration for a theme can come just by browsing through some birthday invitations.

Photography Tips

Once a theme is in place, you'll want to include birthday invitation wording to match. For a Circus themed party with Circus party invitations the invitation wording might read:

Birthday Invitation Phrases and Wording

The giraffe stretches his neck to see;
the elephant waves his trunk with glee;
the seal twirls his ball with joy,
in honor of the birthday boy.
Come join Cody in celebrating his seventh birthday
Saturday, April 20th at 1:00 PM
RSVP (509) 123-4567

The older the child gets it may become easier to decide on a theme, or even forgo the theme as the child gets into its teen years. A sweet sixteen, for example, is a theme all its own. For this kind of party, you should pick out some Sweet Sixteen invitations that fit the personality of the celebrant. If it's a girl, something pink and frilly might be appropriate, such as Princess Tiara Birthday Party Invitation, with the following wording:

Steer clear! Brianna's got a license to drive!
Come celebrate her sweet sixteen.
Friday, March 14th
5:00 - 7:00 PM
at Big Daddy's Bowling
2850 S. Ray, Spokane
R.S.V.P. (509)-777-7777

If the birthday person is turning 18 years of age or younger, it is considered okay to include the exact age they are turning in the birthday invitation wording. When considering including jokes about age, do so with much consideration and sensitivity. Consider the formality of the party and who's being invited. If it's a formal dinner for a coworker, you may want to nix any thought of light-heartedness. If it's a backyard barbecue party for a close relative or friend, this may be the perfect time for a light-hearted jab. Generally, the rule is to only make an age-related joke if the person who's birthday you're celebrating would make the joke themselves.

When considering birthday invitation wording when the celebrant is an adult, it is common to point out the joys of growing older:

Some things are better the older they grow.
Antiques, wine and someone special we know!

You should still keep in mind who is having the birthday. You don't necessarily have to throw a themed party, but the wording for the birthday invitation cards should show a glimmer of who the celebrant is. Let's say the celebrant enjoys Gardening. You'll want to get Garden Party Invitations and include matching wording:

Friends are flowers in the garden of life . . .
and we've "picked" a great bunch to celebrate Jackie's Birthday.

Another avenue you might pursue is the surprise party. In your invitation wording, it should be expressed clearly that the celebrant doesn't and shouldn't know details of the party. Here are some examples:

Shh! It's a surprise party!
Please join us in celebrating
Holly Roberts 30th birthday
On September 2nd
At 7 o'clock pm
The Smith's House
1201 S. Wesley
Madison, WI

Our good friend Jerry is turning the big 5-0
We're throwing a party, and you're invited to show.
If you can make it, here's a word to the wise,
Keep it under your hat, 'cause it's a surprise!
July 10th at 6 PM
At the Rock Bottom Brewery
560 Main Street
Seattle, WA

Please join us in celebrating
Tina Clarks Birthday
on May 22nd
Cocktails - 6:00pm
Dinner - 7:30pm
Scratch Restaurant
345 W Ivy
It's a surprise!

Overall, your birthday invitation wording should not only convey the details of the party, but should also be a good reflection of who the celebrant is.

Why I Love Photography

There is no simple answer to why I love photography. What can be captured in a picture goes well beyond what could ever be captured with words. While aiming through the viewfinder and searching for the perfect angle, the perfect flicker of light, and the perfect smile, grimace, scream, or flock of hair, there is a sense of calmness and peace that comes over me. It's as if nothing else exists beyond the reach of my zoom button.

The best types of photographs are those that come unrehearsed, unscheduled, and without prompting. It's the moment when my little sister leans forward in her beautiful white dress and catches the lips of her new husband for the first time as a wife. It's the moment my little girl takes the stage for her very first dance recital, only to kick her tap shoes into the stage and throws a screaming, crying fit of anxiety.

Photography Tips

Then you have the softer moments of nature that seem to be happening just for my entertainment. For instance, the bee slipping out of a newly opened flower like a lover rushing home in the morning dew or the multitude of birds that flock to the trees in my front yard all summer long.

Why I Love Photography

From rare moments of humanity to everyday encounters with the wild, everything can be captured forever by photography. Things that would otherwise go unnoticed get drawn into the light and focused on until they are seen and admired around the world.

What would otherwise happen in one moment and be gone the next is forever captured and held tight by photography! What better thing in the world is there to love?

I believe that people who love photography have a certain passion and curiosity for life. They are not content to let the smallest, most mundane things that occur in the world go unnoticed. They are excited at the mere thought of discovering the unknown and getting up close and personal with every aspect of this world.

A lot of my photography would never interest anyone else in the world, but every now and then I will take a picture that stops me cold. It tends to be the pictures that show something that occurred in the flicker of a fraction of a second that I would have never even recognized if it weren't for the magically timed flash of the camera.

In these pictures I often see a glimmer in someone's eye that tells me they are not happy or a smile so deniably gleeful and exhilarated that the happiness of that moment has touched that person forever. These tend to be raw, un-posed pictures snapped at random moments when the subjects and myself least expect anything profound to be revealed.

Right there in those moments, that is why I love photography! It's not so much in the thrill and fun of snapping the pictures but in the off guard moments when some very real, stark honest reflection of humanity comes out of my camera and is born forever into the world.

Top 10 Romantic Anniversary Ideas

It can be hard to think up new romantic anniversary ideas. But believe me, its worth making the change from the usual "dinner and a movie" routine..

An anniversary is the best opportunity of the year to show your partner how much they mean to you.

Photography Tips

Here are some great romantic anniversary ideas to keep you from getting stuck in a romance rut. Or maybe even help rekindle an old flame.

Top 10 Romantic Anniversary Ideas

1. Take them out for a romantic nighttime picnic. Find a spot that overlooks an amazing view, like a natural lake or cityscape, or the top of a tall hill. Create a beautiful backdrop with the view you choose.

Pack your picnic full of goodies that you know your partner loves. Like wine, chocolate covered strawberries, hot chocolate, cookies, a salad or some homemade sandwiches.

2. Make them a home cooked candlelight dinner. Try these tips to make it extra special:

* Enhance the mood by playing romantic songs in the background

* Dim the lights and have candles create a romantic glow

* Fill the room with their favorite type of flowers

* Scatter rose petals on the dinner table

3. Bring back fond memories by taking your partner back to the place that you had your first date. Recreate it. Make everything that you do the exact same as that special night. Recreate all of the tiniest little details, such as music you listened to, places you went, the car you drove, etc.

Pay close attention to all the small details. The more thought your partner will know you put into it.

4. Secretly take your partner on a surprise romantic weekend getaway.
To make it a surprise, make it seem like you're taking them on a usual day trip that's not very exciting. Then take them to the airport and surprise them with the tickets to the romantic destination of their dreams.
To make it all run smooth, you can pre-pack their things, and arrange for them to have time off at work.

5. Gather up all of the old pictures ever taken of the two of you and make a romantic photo album or scrapbook. This gift is very thoughtful, and can be done by you alone, or you can spend an evening making it together. When you're done, the album should be full of special memories the two of you can cherish forever.

6. Take your partner to the neighborhood that they grew up in. Let them see their old home, where they went to school, and any other places they have mentioned over the years. This should bring back a flood of precious memories for them that they can share with you.

7. Show up at their work with an oversized box of chocolates and flowers. Do it right in front of everyone so they will all see. But only do it if they will like the special attention. Don't do it if they are the type of person that will get embarrassed.

8. Create a romantic bedroom makeover. Its probably something your partner will never expect.

Use soft and silky fabrics, rose petals, scented candles, romantic music, and top it all off with an intimate sensual massage.

9. Go for a romantic photo shoot together. This will give you sensual and romantic photos that will last a lifetime! (A common favorite are black and white photos).
You can make them as sexy, or romantic as you like.

There are lots of photographers to choose from. So search around until you find one that suites what you're looking for.

10. Print some free romantic love coupons to give to your partner. They're fun and flirty, and you can find them for free (see the website below). Or you can purchase them at any love store. Not only are they thoughtful, but you can customize them and choose to print off whichever romantic gestures you like.

I hope these romantic anniversary ideas have helped you find the best way for you to show your love. No matter what you choose to do, or how you do it. If you do it for them you can't go wrong!

Photography - Tips For Photographing Red Deer Stags Using a Digital Camera

Photographing red deer stags is one of those magical events in life. My good friend and I took up an opportunity recently to go and spend some time taking pictures of red deer in the wild. These deer make great subject matter for photography, but when rutting season is upon them the stags tend to take on a totally different personality.

Photography Tip - How to Photograph Large Wildlife and How Not To

Photography Tips

With any photography mission the challenge is always going to be to get as close to the subject matter as is (A) safe and (B) possible, (obviously without allowing yourself to get into any immediate danger) in some cases this is often achieved by using a telephoto zoom lens, but as is more often the case getting closer means clearer and more detailed pictures.

Photography - Tips For Photographing Red Deer Stags Using a Digital Camera

Always have your camera strap round your neck, this way if you have to suddenly take flight you will stand less chance of dropping it, but be sure if you do have to run that you place one hand on the camera otherwise you stand a good chance of it bashing you in the chin or worse.

The photo opportunity was a good one for us as we had bright sunshine and a warm day so we could use an 18 to 70mm wide angle lens with the camera settings left on automatic, though on reflection I wish I had been using my 28 to 200mm lens.

If you are photographing animals, great care should be taken to know the safety levels and whether they have times of the year that they are not approachable at all.

Red Deer Stags are majestic animals and clearly have enough power and energy to take on and defeat several humans at once if they so desired. Most of the year they would be happy for you to get up real close to take some great pictures, but when rutting season arrives you should certainly keep a safe distance between you and them.

Getting as close as we did to the Stags certainly set our heart racing as they fixed their glance at us and started scuffing the ground as if to charge, then swaying their antlers side to side while stabbing the ground with them. This was slightly unnerving, but a great opportunity to capture some great red deer pictures.

On more than one occasion we found ourselves a little more than uncomfortably close and ended up walking away exceptionally fast while trying not to run until at a safe enough distance to do so.

My biggest tip for photographing these great creatures is make sure it is not the rutting season or you could certainly end up with a lot more than a few good pictures as they do not tolerate any kind of friendly attention at this time.

Try to approach from downwind where possible this often gives a little edge and could secure some red deer pictures that you might not have managed had you not have done so. Wear camouflage clothing and carry as little as is possible. Try to have a little base set-up where you can leave the bulk of your equipment and possessions.

Sexual Intercourse Positions to Get Pregnant With a Boy Baby

It's becoming more widely known that there are natural ways that you can influence your baby's gender or sex. One of the easiest (and totally free) of these methods is using specific intercourse or sexual positions. In this article, I will discuss what are the best sexual positions for you to use if you are trying to conceive or get pregnant with a boy baby. I'll also tell you the science behind why this works.

Why The Sexual Positions You Use When Trying To Conceive Affect The Gender Of Your Baby: Most every one knows that intercourse positions can affect whether you have a boy or a girl, but not everyone fully understands why this is true. Your baby's gender is determined by which sperm chromosome reaches and fertilizes the egg first. There are both Y (boy) and X (girl) chromosomes. Both race to the egg, but each have different characteristics. Y sperm are very fast, but are also extremely weak. X sperm are not the fastest, but are by far the strongest.

Photography Tips

If you are trying to conceive a boy baby, this is important to know because you will have to downplay the Y sperm's weakness. These guys start to deteriorate and die off very quickly. So, you'll need to do several things to help to compensate for this. The sexual positions that you chose is one way to control this.

Sexual Intercourse Positions to Get Pregnant With a Boy Baby

The Best Intercourse And Sexual Positions For A Baby Boy Conception: To get pregnant with a male baby, you'll want to use positioning that places the sperm as close as possible to the egg. This gives the weak little guys a short trip and limits their time in a hostile vaginal environment.

The best known positions for a deposit very close to the cervix is rear entry where the woman is typically lying on her stomach, but has her knees in a sitting position. Another variation has the woman sitting up with bent knees on the edge of the bed or on the floor. You can use a pillow to raise your pelvis even further for an even deeper deposit.

Many people think that the missionary position is good for a girl conception and this is true if you are using it in the traditional way, but a little variation on this technique can achieve very deep penetration that is effective for conceiving a boy. If the woman bends and holds her knees or places her legs at the man's neck or shoulders (sometimes called the anvil position), then the proper penetration can be easily achieved. Again, using a pillow to raise your pelvis can make this even more effective.

Additional Things You'll Need To Do When Trying To Conceive A Girl: Sexual positioning is one part of the equation, but it's not the only part. You'll need to do everything that you can to give the Y sperm the best chance, considering their relative weakness. Another way to do this is by having intercourse on the day of or the day following ovulation. You will need a reliable ovulation predictor to ensure success because accuracy is vital here. You can't just guess.

You will also need to alkalize your body and your vagina. Remember, Y sperm can not withstand a hostile environment and a high PH and acidity is about as hostile as you can get. You can achieve a lower PH by going on a low acid diet and / or by douching. The best and easiest way to start is to test your PH with testing strips that you can get a health food store or on the web. Then, you will know how far you need to go to get your optimum PH. And, the douche solutions that will work best for will depend on this reading.

You can use the either or method (either foods or douching) or you can combine both of these for even quicker, more dramatic results. And, you can continue to test with the strips so you will know exactly when you are ready to conceive your son.

How to Choose Creative Photography Business Names

When it comes to choosing a creative name for a photography business you need to expand on your own ideas by seeking inspiration from somewhere.

There are many ways to do this. Below we have outlined some of the ways that you can get photography business name ideas for your new or existing studio. We have also put forward some ideas on how you can come up with some great words to incorporate into a company name.

Photography Tips

Photography Business Name Generators

How to Choose Creative Photography Business Names

It would be great if there were such a thing on the Internet but sadly there is not. A great business name has to come from the human mind and cannot be generated by a computer. These mythical online business name generators that you may have heard of simply don't work well in photography or any industry for that matter. They produce results that are far inferior to what you would come up with by yourself.

Seek Professional Advice

Most business owners take on a major role in the decision making process for choosing their business name. However, smart entrepreneurs are now starting to understand that they may not be the best people to make this crucial business decision. It is definitely not a decision that you want to make without seeking advice from a variety of people.

While most business name consultants are way overpriced and will be way out of budget for a small photography startup you may find an experienced local business person or marketing consultant who will offer you some advice for a reasonable price.

Get Inspiration from Other Businesses

To get ideas for naming a photography business you can look at your competitors as well as other creative businesses such as design firms or advertising agencies for inspiration. With the Internet these days you can even look at business names that are in use on the other side of the world.

Avoid Cliches

When you first start brainstorming ideas for photography business names you may come up with some ideas that seem creative, natural or clever. Be careful here though as there are probably dozens of other business owners who had the same idea. Many names like 'A Thousand Words Photography' or 'Picture This Photography' may seem great when you hear them for the first time but they have really been overused in the photography industry.

Getting Creative Ideas from Words

One creative way to come up with some great name ideas is to come up with some relevant words, write them down on pieces of paper and then practice putting them together in a variety of combinations. Here are some ideas for coming up with a great selection of words.

1) Photography Related Words - Start writing down words that you may like to incorporate into your business name. These may include 'photography' related words such as vision, shots, images, media, studio, focus or pictures. 'Photography' is an obvious choice for a word but it is not absolutely essential.

2) Service Related Words - You may also consider words that describe your products or services or the benefits that customers gain from choosing your photography studio over those of your competitors.

3) Emotional Words - Many niches in photography are all about capturing special memories and moments. If you need a good name for a wedding photography business for example then you might consider using some of these words. Words like 'Moment' or 'Memories' may stir up a prospects emotions and attract them to your business.

4) Location Words - If you are really stuck for name ideas then one option is to simply use the name of the area or city that you are working from. A local landmark can also work well. If you are targeting clients locally and feel that you would be unlikely to expand far beyond your immediate area than geographic words can be appropriate in a title. At the very least, your business name will be relevant and appealing to people in the area that you are targeting.

5) Unrelated Words - Sometimes businesses choose words for no particular reason at all and they work well. Strong words that attract attention or stimulate curiosity can be some of the best choices. Think of some random words that you come across in your reading or day to day activities. Take a random word like 'Butterfly' for example and think about what kind of image would come to mind if people saw an advertisement for 'Butterfly' Photography.

Inspiration can come from all around you if you keep your eyes open. Get the naming process off to a great start be getting lots of creative photography business name ideas to build upon.

Free Public Arrest Records?

It is really rather easy and convenient to conduct a Criminal Record Search on people nowadays. In fact, there is a whole range of specific categories of criminal records to choose from. Arrest Records is one of the favorites and there are good reasons for it. Generally, there is no limitation imposed by the authorities on the release of arrest record information. There is also practically no restriction on the use of the information derived. That makes it one of the friendliest and useful tools to research the criminal past of virtually anyone.

Except where the subjects are juveniles or when it is deemed to be against public interests of security or other official proceedings, arrest records are strictly public records. That means they are freely retrievable through any legitimate means that are available to the public. By definition, they are documentations of any detention or custody taken by law enforcement, including military authorities, on grounds of suspicion or allegation of criminal violation. This record itself stands whether or not it results in incarceration, indictment, dismissal, discharge or acquittal.

Photography Tips

Arrest records are commonly used to check out job applicants, new neighbors, friends, prospective spouse or in-laws and even tenants. It must be noted though that it is not permissible particularly in relation to employment to officially ask someone if he or she has ever been arrested. When asked in that context, it should be understood that an individual can rightfully decline to answer without any threat or repercussion.

Free Public Arrest Records?

There are a number of options to access arrest records. Free information can be obtained from police departments or even the FBI with written requests. Many of the government agencies have websites that will serve this purpose too. Fees are usually nominal if required at all. There are also private databases on the web which can be explored. Some are free, some paid and others hybrid in a sense that charges come into play depending on what level of information is sought. For example, many of the commercial information brokers online offer free searches and charge when hits are made and download of the report is ordered.

Home Interior Design Tips on Decorating Your Space With Wall Art

How to Decorate your Space with Wall Pictures

If a room in your house lacks character, by simply placing some fine art prints on the walls can actually make quite an impact. Wall pictures are a necessary accessory in your home and are great to tie in with the room's style and color accent. Before you go off to buy some new pictures for your walls there are a few things you need to plan and decide upon. Here is a home interior design guide on how to decorate your space with wall art.

Home Interior Design Tips on Decorating Your Space With Wall Art

The kind of home you have and the mood, ambience and style of decor you create, should be perfectly designed to suit your lifestyle. Deciding on a style for your room should be determined by the lifestyle you choose and not by what's the latest home interior design trend.

Whichever room you are wanting to decorate, whether it be your bedroom, living area, kitchen or office space, you need to decide what you want to get out of that space. For example:

do you want to hold dinner parties or entertain? do you want a quiet retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle? Is this an area for the kids to play in? Is this a room for your hobby?

Once you have decided what you want to use the room for, you can now choose a color theme to suit the function of the room. For example, mellow greens and neutrals for your 'quiet retreat room', lively yellow for the kids room, or pale tranquil blue for your office space.

So far we have established the function and color of the room in question, this then gives us the basis on choosing the right art prints for the area.

For example:

Like paint color, artwork can immediately establish or change a room's mood. Not only can it pull the room together, but you can use it to create a style uniquely your own.

traditional & classic modern contemporary fun & entertaining casual romantic

The style of the room is totally dependent on your own personal taste and this is the time when you can inject your own personality into the room through artwork and textured accessories.

Suggested art picture styles:

Fun & Entertaining: Pictures can include bright colors both in the print and on the frame. Fun and entertaining pictures can include kittens and puppies, or comedian actors such as the Three Stooges or Laurel & Hardy.

Modern: With the strong black accents in the framed iron-work and the tapestries, striking black and white photos are a natural choice for a modern and sophisticated look.

Calm Retreat: To reinforce the mood of a nestled, cozy retreat, use artwork with neutral, earthy colors and a horizontal landscape subject.

You can even mix and match different styles to create a unique style of your own. For example, frame traditional black and white photo prints in a modern black iron frame.

Arranging and Hanging your Pictures

In order to get the maximum effect of your wall pictures in terms of adding character and a focal point to the room, you need to decide where and how you want to hang them.

Here are some suggestions to help you decide how to get the best effects from your pictures:-

Modern Gallery Look: To create a modern art gallery feel, particularly nice in hallways, lobbies and stairwells, give each piece ample breathing room. Stand at the center of the first piece and take one swift, or two small steps along the wall. This is a good center for the next piece.

Above a Sofa: When placing art above furniture such as a sofa, you need to hang the picture about six to nine inches above the sofa, or at eye level.

Cluster Arrangements: Tightly group an even number of pictures together to give a statement or a focal point. This works on either large or small wall spaces, depending on the look you want.

In a row: By placing an odd number of pictures in a horizontal line to each other gives balance and the sense of space. This works well in hallways or stairwells.

By deciding where and how to hang your pictures, whether it be a tight cluster or a single print above a sofa, you can then determine the size and shape of the pictures you need to buy.

When you have decided on the room's function, color and style, you are in a much better position to go shopping for wall pictures that fit in with the overall theme.

Summary

Wall pictures are an underestimated home interior design accessory. This is probably because most people do not know what to do with their pictures in order to get the maximum effect in a room. Before you go hanging up your pictures make sure you plan ahead what you want to get out of that room. Decide on the function, style and color of the room first before you buy your artwork. By doing this you are in a much better position to buy the right type of art picture to fit in with the theme and color accent of your room.

The Best Sexual Positions: The Top 5 Mistakes Most Guys Make

One of the many challenges men have is to decide on what positions to use when getting booty. The biggest fears are that the woman will get bored with the "same old, same old" and as a result lose interest in sex. So the question becomes, what are the best sexual positions?

The best way to explain this is to talk about what NOT to do. With that in mind, I'll now talk about the top five mistakes guys make when it comes to sexual positions, so that way you won't continue making them.

Photography Tips

Position Mistake 1: Imitating anything seen in a porn movie. This is probably the biggest reason that guys fail with sexual positions. Inexperienced guys think porn is a good model because they see studs banging beautiful broads, and... well, they just don't know any better. The problem is that sexual positions in those sorts of movies are meant to display a good scene for viewers, not to maximize pleasure for the actors.

And in fact, one of the WORST positions for clitoral and vaginal stimulation is when the woman puts her ankles on your shoulders. With her pelvis bent back that far, she can feel pain in her cervix if you push in too far. Plus it's a position that puts pressure. (If you ever have a chance to go behind the scenes and watch the making of an adult movie, you'll see how quickly the mood gets killed when the actress keeps having to stop the scene to go to the bathroom!)

Position Mistake 2: Trying too hard to keep your weight off the woman, in any position. To a woman, sex is a way to get closer to her man. She loves it when he leans on the underside of her thighs. So here's a tip for you to try... Next time you're having sex with your woman (while you're engaged in actual intercourse, that is), get more of your weight on her. You see, during sex, almost every woman enjoys feeling her man's body pressed hard against her.

So how much weight should you put on her? Make it enough so that after you come, and the sexual frenzy dissipates, your woman will tell you that she feels like she's being smooshed. Of course, do this within limits! If you're on top off her grinding her pubic bone for too long, it can feel painful for her.

But the bottom line is that many, many women like to be pressured by at least some of the man's weight. So save the gentlemanly sex for the royal family's women!

Position Mistake 3: Letting the woman do all the work when she's on top. For virtually every woman, sex is mostly a passive activity. So by being the motionless beta male, you destroy the whole purpose of sex for her, which is to open herself up to you penetrating into her body.

Position Mistake 4: Being a wimp. A lot of guys have read too many "Men are From Mars"-type books and think women like it if you ask permission for everything and let them take the lead. Be the alpha male instead and just "do it." Flip her over, move her here and there. Be aggressive and even toss her about like a rag doll when you want to change positions, and... she'll LOVE it! And don't worry about it. If something is going on that the woman doesn't like, she'll let you know.

Position Mistake 5: Thinking the trickier positions are better. You don't need to be upside down, hanging from a lamp, and doing something crazy. Just be normal. An old standby like the missionary (man on top, woman lying on her back) can be the best sexual position.

Tricky positions are just frustrating for everybody and often kill the mood because there's too much "where should I put my arm?"... and not enough "let's just have fun exploring."
