Here are five tips for the truly wonderful vacation and family reunion photos that will help people remember all the fun you arehad together.

Christmas is for children ... so down to their level. There is nothing like the look of excitement on the face of a child on Christmas Eve, or the look of happiness on Christmas morning. The same applies for a birthday celebration - a child knows the day is something special, and they are all smiles.

To capture the magic of childhood, you should be up to the level. Crouch down, lay on the ground to get as close as possible. Kids are not even aware as adults when itcomes to photos, you can directly beside them, and they will barely know that you take pictures. And if you are at their level or below, your photos will help transport the audience back to their own childhood memories!

Gather the people into groups of 3 or 5 if possible. When the people gathered to see an odd number of objects, they tend to stop and look are. This is because their minds immediately want to add something to the group. So if you're at a familyGathering, be sure to bring people together in small groups of 3 or 5 (Anything above this number at a large group photo.) People are less likely to fly over your photo when they see it, and they are also more likely to try "fill" the missing piece with their own memories!

Group your photos into themes. If you shoot a few topics in mind. For example, if you have several aunts in the family, trying to capture them indifferent situations, then assemble the photos into a separate group called "My Favorite aunts." If you send it to them, they are a kick to get the special treatment!

Set up a fun event. Well, I will not try to tell you what you could find family fun, but you can see the people doing some pretty outrageous things to do, if you ask! If you do, people will laugh and you really have a good time. Some will let down their guard a little - you can only capture oneThe tight-lipped smile on your brother!

Stand back and get snapshots of the action. Look for people with intensive discussions and float out of earshot. This way you are far enough to go unnoticed. Then when you feel like blending into the background are, incidentally, raise your camera to your eye and grab a candid shot of the conversation. If you have an SLR, you might want to invest in a telephoto lens, so that you can stand farther away andmore honest picture.

As you can see, these tips are not technical - they are not always exactly the right light. They are something much more important - preserving your precious memories forever.
